PAL Programs are designed to be affordable and available at appropriate times throughout the year to the target audience. While some of the programs are year-round, many are divided in one, five, six or eight week sessions and others are seasonal.

Before and After Care extends your child’s learning day while providing high quality care in a safe and fun environment. Students enjoy a snack, down-time and homework time after school. Howell PAL also offers early dismissal and non school day programs to meet your needs. The ELC Before and After care is a ten month annual program which follows the Howell Public School District academic calendar. The care is offered at several elementary schools throughout the school year. Care is available from 6:30 a.m. until school starts and from school release until 6 p.m. Tuition is billed and charged on the 1st day of the month but the monthly amount is calculated based on actual daily rates and number of school days in each month per the schedule you select during the online registration process.

Located inside of Southard School (Community Enrichment Center), the Little PALS Preschool is a NJ State Licensed childcare center which provides a full day of play and enrichment by combining safety and security with quality staff, enriching education and age appropriate activities. PAL works cooperatively with the Howell Township School District to incorporate approved methods and programs for the benefit of your children and to ease the transition from preschool to kindergarten. The Little PALS Preschool fully prepares students for the next step in their educational process by utilizing an educational program that coincides with the Howell Township School District. Tuition rates are based on child age: Pre K (4 yrs & older); Pre School (3 yrs up to 4 yrs); Toddler (19 mo. up to 3 yrs); Infant Care (6 wks up to 18 mo.)The Preschool tuition is billed and charged on the 1st day of each month but the monthly amount is calculated based on the actual daily rates and the number of school days in each month per the schedule you select during the on-line registration process. Kindergarten-5th Grade (K-5) Summer Camp PAL Summer Camp offers a full day of exciting activities where children can grow, explore, and have fun in a safe, supportive environment. From sports and outdoor play to crafts and creative learning, campers enjoy confidence-building experiences and make lasting friendships. We provide scheduling with full-day camp hours from 8:30 AM to 2:30 PM and extended care available from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. With themed activities, special events, and caring trained staff, PAL is here to help your child have the best summer ever. There are 3, 4 and 5 day Options. There is a Half Day Option for all 5 days. Register by April 30th for a reduced registration fee of $125.00 - ($100 if you are currently enrolled in a PAL child care program) After April 30th the late registration fee is $200 - ($175 if you are currently enrolled in a PAL Child care program) You May Call the PAL Main office with any additional questions at 732-919-2825 Please know if you are registering for ELC camp, new to preschool or a student with allergies, asthma, etc, we will need medical paperwork by June 13, 2026.
